Our Journey

The IICSR Journey: From Being Change-Makers to Building Change-Makers

 

Our journey began in 2010—long before CSR and Sustainability were buzzwords or legal mandates. Driven purely by purpose, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work on the ground. From empowering women and providing technology training to distributing books, offering medical aid in urban slums, and enabling education—our story began with action, not just intention.

At the heart of this early work was the Ekjaa Foundation, our launchpad for grassroots impact and social innovation. From these humble beginnings, the seeds of IICSR were sown.

By 2015, as CSR laws began emerging globally, we recognised a glaring gap—not in intent, but in understanding. Businesses lacked the knowledge, skills, and direction to translate CSR into meaningful impact. That’s when IICSR was born—with a bold mission:
To upskill professionals, infuse sustainable thinking in business, and nurture ethical leadership for the future.

Advocating for Change, One Dialogue at a Time

To inspire change at scale, we created powerful platforms for collaboration and advocacy. Over the years, we have hosted thought-provoking national and international events, each designed to move the needle forward:

  • Next Step Season 1 (2016) – Championing impact entrepreneurs

  • National Summit on Extractive Industry & Sustainability (2017)

  • Mining Industry & Sustainable Development (2018)

  • International Responsible Investors Network (2020)

  • Next Step Season 2 (2021) – Scaling impact entrepreneurship

  • Certified ESG Practitioner Launch (2022)

  • Deliberations on ESG – Goa (2023)

  • Sustainability Dialogues across the USA, Canada, and India (2024)

 

Inspiring voices such as Dr. Michael Hopkin, Mr. Monaem Lellahom, Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, and Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala have led our in-person workshops, mentoring hundreds of changemakers.

 

Adapting with Agility, Educating with Purpose

When the world came to a standstill during COVID-19, our mission didn't. Instead, we expanded.
In 2020, we launched iicsronlineinstitute.com, a fully online education platform. By 2022, we had established our physical campus in Goa, India—a hub for immersive learning and innovation.

Our impact since then has been humbling:

  • 10,000+ hours of learning content

  • 5,000+ trained corporate professionals

  • International accreditations from ACTD, MEPSC, and EAHEA

We haven’t just kept up—we’ve stayed ahead.

Re-Evolving with Technology: Enter Lynera.ai

As the world embraces Artificial Intelligence, so do we. In 2025, we will step into a new chapter with the launch of Lynera.ai, our first AI-powered education platform. With Lynera, we are democratising knowledge access and equipping learners and creators with intelligent tools to grow, adapt, and lead.

The Legacy Continues

From working in the slums of India to shaping boardroom conversations around ESG, from classroom training to AI-driven learning—we’ve come a long way. But our mission remains unchanged:
